Clinton Teachers Using Cutting-Edge Technology
Students Using Hand-Held Devices For Quizzes
Clinton teachers are using cutting-edge technology in the classroom to teach students.
Students at Eastside Elementary School in Clinton are using a new method to answer questions in class. Each student in the classroom gets a hand-held device and when a teacher asks a multiple choice question, all students have to do is press A, B, C or D using the device. If teachers ask a question out loud that's not a multiple choice question, students can text the answer to the teacher. The questions are displayed on a projector in the classroom.
Teachers said it improves classroom involvement. In fact, a teacher won't even move onto the next question until every student in the class answers the question using the device.

National Math Bee Praises InLine for Excellent Service
The following is a letter from Dr S. David Vaillancourt, Chairman of the Board, National Math Bee:
Dear Mr. Martin Costa,
InLine's excellent service and technical infrastructure that helps facilitate the National Math Bee is greatly appreciated by the hundreds of students, teachers and parents that are able to take part in this national online learning community. In many ways we are still in our infancy, but during the first three years of this nationwide event we have had the opportunity to enrich the classroom experience for multiple thousands of elementary students across the country.
The enclosed hand-made cards, letters and drawings have been added to our Website to share with all. They came from students in different parts of the country as part of our annual "Thanksgiving Special" activity. I am very pleased to be able to forward the enclosed correspondences addressed to you. I truly hope you are able to take some time to enjoy the gratitude expressed by the students.
Thank you so much for your part of making this possible.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
Sincerely,
Dr. S. David Vaillancourt
Chairman of the Board
