As an Optometrist in the Trussville area, Sam Pierce, O.D., knows the value of a strong and productive computer system to manage his company’s business and secure his patients records. Trussville Vision Care has been an InLine client for 2 years. In that time, InLine has provided Trussville Vision Care with firewall and e-mail hosting services, as well as installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows 2003 Small Business Server (SBS).
Based on his satisfaction with InLine’s service, Dr. Sam has recently contracted with InLine for an InCare packaged service. In addition to serving his local patients, Dr. Sam participates in the community and is chairperson of a task force on emergency preparedness for the Alabama Optometric Association. The role of this task force is to improve disaster response time and provisions. In Dr. Sam’s words, “My hope is that the next time something like this (Hurricane Katrina) happens, we will be there from day one.”
